Working as part of the User Engagement department within our Siemens Global Information Technology division, based at our state-of-the-art site in Poole, Dorset, we are looking for a talented person with a keen interest in IT, communications, and project coordination.

    What are my responsibilities?

    • Listen to the business and develop trustful relationships to understand how they work and what they need from IT to anticipate to their needs.
    • Interact with a broad range of software and solutions to facilitate solving customer requirements.
    • Manage multiple projects with varying priorities, topic areas, and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Be curious! Deploy innovative technology from our global IT value centres into our UK businesses.

Throughout your Placement Year in Poole, you’ll experience what it means to work in IT for a global technology company. You will gain invaluable on-the-job experience of projects and initiatives that drive and facilitate digitalisation and delivery of IT services to employees across Siemens AG.

    About you

    We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:

    • You are ideally studying towards a 2:2 or above in Business, Information Technology / Information Management with Business or any other related degree.
    • You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
    • You can work independently, safely, and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
    • You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.
