In our Siemens Mobility Division, the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and SISS (Security and Information Systems) department plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of transportation systems, with a focus on railways. The challenge
Begin your journey with us whilst taking part in our fantastic graduate development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Siemens.
- Training and Learning: Engage in ongoing training and learning opportunities to enhance your understanding of SCADA and SISS technologies and industry best practices.
- System Design: Participate in the design and implementation of SCADA and SISS system configurations to meet specific project requirements and bring the systems to life.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and address system issues or anomalies, and provide initial troubleshooting to resolve challenges.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions, resolve technical problems, and contribute to system enhancements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including system logs and incident reports, and update technical documentation as needed.
- Site Works: Participate in site visits and works, assisting in the deployment, testing, and maintenance of SCADA and SISS systems at physical locations.
The candidate
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
- Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a engineering related degree
- You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
- You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
- You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
