About the role
- As this role is internal facing, we are looking for someone with a high level of customer service
- Excellent knowledge of endpoint devices, Windows, Linux, macOS and IOS
- A passion for technology and automation
- The ability to work to tight deadlines, build relationships and work with users in a professional, confident, and friendly manner
- Open to learning new ways of working and integrate with an established multi-discipline team
Area of responsibility
- Become the internal face of IT within the company
- Provide first and second line support to company end-users (both form technical, non-technical, and at all levels of the business)
- Providing internal support for office hardware including data centers, servers, PCs and mobile devices, and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Set up of internal user environments
- Ensure the smooth deployment of new hardware & software
- Support the data centre environment with patches, VM replication and new VM's as required
- Support issues both inside and outside of core working hours, including remote workers
- Create and maintain all operational documentation, processes, and procedures
- Integrate with larger teams to ensure that IT policies are adhered to and escalate issues where needed
- General day to day administration tasks including IT procurement, proactive maintenance and monitoring of backup and security systems, deployment of updates and auditing systems
- Continuously improving and keeping up with the IT business needs of the organisation
- Testing and configuring new hardware and software technologies
- Management of video conferencing and telecommunications technologies
Your qualifications
- Experience with end user support
- Experience with VMware Virtualisation
- Experience to Windows Server 2012R2+
- Experience with Active Directory/LDAP
- Networking and troubleshooting experience
