    The role

    As Learning & Development Intern at Siemens Healthineers, you will help to develop, propose and implement learning and communication policies, methods, processes and programmes across the business. Our Magnet Technology factory in Eynsham, Oxford, is at the forefront of manufacturing high-tech medical imaging equipment used by healthcare professionals worldwide, so as you would expect the learning & development of our teams is absolutely essential to enable us to deliver.

    This 12-month internship placement will provide you with many exciting opportunities, projects and new initiatives to be involved in, and enables you to collaborate with all departments across the business, and a chance to make a really meaningful contribution to our team. We are looking for students who want to take on real responsibility during their year in industry, and who want to take advantage of a structured Intern Development Programme.

    As a Learning & Development Intern in our Business Excellence team, you can expect to

    • Collaborate with the Learning & Development Manager to design, develop and deliver training programmes.
    • Assist in the coordination of employee development initiatives including new starter inductions, workshops, training sessions and e-learning modules, ensuring employee training up to date.
    • Where appropriate source and book appropriate external training providers for specialised training.
    • Contribute to the creation of engaging and informative training and communication material for the business.
    • Participate in the planning, coordination and execution of employee engagement activities including our Corporate Social Responsibility events.
    • Participate in our 12 month Intern development programme teaching softer skills such as communication, teamwork, and commercial awareness alongside the role.

    Who are we looking for?

    • Currently studying a degree and looking for a 12 month placement.
    • Excellent communication skills with a customer focus, as well as excellent presentation and administration skills
    • Solid IT skills and some experience of data analysis
    • Excellent attention to detail, time management and task coordination skills
    • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
