    Are you looking for a 3 month Summer engineering internship near Oxford? Siemens Healthineers is taking on five Manufacturing Engineering Summer Interns, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the future of healthcare. As a Manufacturing Engineering Summer Intern, you will help the manufacturing engineering team deliver high-quality and innovative solutions to magnet production challenges.

    The role

    The challenges and opportunities of this engineering role may include:

    • New product development and introduction, facility development, new test processes
    • Quality improvements, waste reductions, tooling and plant development, and general process improvements
    • Understanding complex manufacturing issues and developing innovative engineering or process solutions
    • Gaining insight into manufacturing operations at a modern high-tech facility

    About you

    To succeed in this manufacturing engineering Summer internship, you will need to be studying towards a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics/Electrical, Materials), Manufacturing or Physics, on target for a 2:1 or above, and looking to complete a Summer placement alongside your degree.
