    Our Operational Excellence department is a multi-functional team covering the areas of Lean (Continuous Improvement), Digitalisation, Data Controlling and Training & Competency. We are constantly working to embed a culture of continuous improvement on site.

    Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend an Assessment Centre on 6th December 2022 at Hull University and the candidate will required to start on August 2023.

    Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to

    • Supporting the Lean team in a variety of Lean activities including, root cause analysis, value stream mapping, data analysis, Kaizen events and project management
    • Working with our Digitalisation and Data Controlling team to turn data into useful information and digitalised solutions to problems
    • Supporting the Training & Competency team with competency programmes and initiatives to ensure that our colleagues are fully equipped to make industry leading wind turbine blades
    • Continued analysis of processes and data on site to identify improvement opportunities
    • Exposure to project and programme management, ensuring that best practice project management principles are in place
    • Supporting the department in standardisation and good document management practices
    • Support of Lean / continuous improvement activities in defined areas of responsibility
    • Assist in the organisation and facilitation of meetings, workshops and events
    • Creation and maintenance of KPI dashboards (PowerBI, MS Excel)

    What you need to make a difference

    A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

    • You to be working towards a degree or equivalent in engineering / manufacturing.
    • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (in particular, MS Excel)
    • Individuals with a structured, logical approach to problems and solutions
