The role

In this role, a marketing intern will be supporting innovative, integrated marketing and client experience strategies across EMEA from our London office, while learning fundamental experience skills required to be successful in this team, business and any workplace. The intern will be working in an incredibly fast moving environment, and will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions. They will also have exposure to senior individuals from across the business, and depending on how much they can handle. This person will be responsible for assisting the organisation in the development and implementation of its marketing, events and public relations plans.

Responsibilities

  • Helping our team in crafting and executing on marketing and client experience initiatives for different teams within the business
  • Working to develop and enhance marketing materials including sales collateral, email campaigns and pitchbooks
  • Get involved in analysis, be it from the Voice of Client programme which our team manages that captures all client views, to marketing management data
  • Work with the team on event organization and execution including event planning, materials, invitations, tracking and presentations
  • Assist in coordinating PR activities as well as tracking sponsorship and speaker opportunities
  • Review and look at ways to enhance our use of social media and campaigns across the business
  • Research regional tech, VC and PE influencers and support initiatives that help grow the Bank’s relationship with these individuals
  • Work with the team to deliver engaging internal communications, such as our High Five email

  • An ability to quickly gain a thorough knowledge of SVB’s offering and brand messaging
  • An interest in the marketing within the technology sector and venture capital / private equity transactions
  • An ability to work collaboratively across the business and also independently
  • An ability to think creatively and put great ideas into practice
  • Must be adaptable to shift between changing priorities, from complex tasks with senior stakeholder involvement to simple, desk- based delivery
  • Capable to work with a sense of urgency and to short deadlines

Prerequisite for applications:

To be considered for this opening you must be a student or recent graduate, you should be within 12 months of graduation or graduated within the last 12 months.

Based in London for 12 months starting June 21st

Hours: 9.00am to 6.pm
