As a Graduate Project Management, you will assist the project manager in performing a variety of tasks as well as performing other clerical duties, such as updating presentations, updating central project register, ensuring proper electronic filing of important documents and updating word documents.
The graduate will also attend meetings with stakeholders and be asked to take minutes, which will give you the opportunity to develop a good stakeholder communication capability. The graduate rotates around various tasks related to project management and governance.
You will be accountable for supporting and contributing to all aspects of the project life cycle, governance for a set of projects, portfolio, resource & skill management for Delivery organization.
You will be reporting to Borders Delivery Governance and will be supporting the Project Managers, Resource Managers and will learn more about a project and its deliverables on this journey.

What you will do
- Assist the Project Manager, collecting updates from the team and preparing periodic reports to be presented to the management.
- Preparing and presenting the project risks, issues and the mitigation plans in support of Project manager.
- Stakeholder management
- Auditing and governing a project/s and present the result through reports /Dashboards.
- Work on the ERP to manage actuals, forecast and budget and review and take appropriate actions for maintenance of the same.
- Creating, maintaining and presenting reports & Dashboards to support Resource management across the Delivery Organization.
- Creating, maintaining and presenting reports & Dashboards to support Skills management across the Delivery Organization.
Who you are
- University degree in Project Management or a related field;
- Exposure to Project Management methodology;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Smartsheet’s, and PowerBI would be useful but not mandatory
- Good time management skills, and attention to detail;
- Capability to influence and organize, with persistence and enthusiasm;
- Ability to work well independently and comfortably with international teams;
- Fluent in English language (other languages are an advantage);
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Must have less than 12 months’ post graduate experience, excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without the need of a work permit/sponsorship.
