With this in mind, we have created a brand-new Project Management Graduate role which will see you gain a holistic understanding of the @one Alliance through rotational placements and a structured support programme across our teams. The end goal would be that you would build the knowledge, skills and expertise to be a future Senior Leader in our organisation!
What you’ll do
- Complete value-added projects across our Project Delivery, Commercial, Engineering, Solutions and Site/Commissioning teams. You’ll not only develop your project management skills, but you’ll also implement tangible improvements which you can look back on with pride.
- Develop an understanding of project management techniques which promote collaboration, synergy and outperformance to deliver against our overall goals and objectives
- Lead a variety of projects across different teams whilst honing your stakeholder engagement and management techniques
- Use theory, innovation and investigatory techniques underpinned by data and evidence, suggest new ways of working/ approaching work
- Be accountable for your own development by working outside of natural comfort zones and learning from mistakes
- Utilise your presence in different teams to share knowledge and create efficiencies where possible
Who you are
- You will hold or be in your final year of achieving a Business Studies or Project Management degree. Whilst previous project management and continuous improvement exposure would be beneficial, we are more focused on your potential to grow and behaviours.
- Always operating with the customer at the heart of what you do
- Motivation and ability to pick up new IT systems quickly and optimise their outputs to produce data and analysis to underpin your ideas to enhance procedures and processes, and ultimately, outputs
- Have excellent communications skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing new ways of thinking

Skanska Graduate Programme
The two-year graduate programme provides a pathway to develop a complete skill set, developing both technical and interpersonal skills. The programme includes interesting courses and on-the-job learning.
As part of the graduate programme, teams will embark on projects to solve business challenges. These projects provide exposure to graduates and senior colleagues in the company and build a strong professional network whilst improving the business.
