At Sky we want to achieve sustainable success. Seeing the Bigger Picture. Being good for our customers, our people, our partners and the communities in which we live and work. Minimising the company’s environmental impacts.

    What you’ll be doing

Through your work, you will play a key role in helping to further develop Sky’s position as a leader on sustainability. Your internship could take place in one of the following areas:

    • Events Team – Create new opportunities to engage stakeholders. Identify platforms to showcase our work through events, awards and speaking opportunities.
    • Inspirational Business – Passionate about the value of engagement and reporting on responsible business issues? Support the communication of Sky’s responsible business commitments and performance to stakeholders.
    • Inspiring Action – Be part of our Bigger Picture team. Work on campaigns alongside talented marketing and project management experts. Bring our approach to sustainability to life to customers, business partners and Sky staff.
    • Policy and Public Affairs – Be part of a team that responds to policy challenges that emerge from a fast-paced political agenda and works with colleagues to develop Sky’s position on issues ranging from advertising to online regulation.

Impress us, and we could well offer you a full-time position on our Business Strategy Graduate Programme once you graduate – starting September 2026.

Other skills we’re looking for include:

    • An enthusiastic problem-solver, brimming with ideas
    • Passion for sustainability issues
    • A good verbal and written communicator across a range of media
    • People orientated with the ability to lead collaborative work across teams.

    Your application journey

Step 1 – Submit your application.

We’ll ask for your details, academic information, and anything else you think would be relevant, such as work experience.

Once your application has been submitted, you’ll be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. This may land in your junk folder, so remember to check it.

Step 2 – Complete our two online digital assessments.

These look at your Sky fit and your business fit. Why not pop onto our dedicated Preparation hub to familiarise yourself with some of these digital assessments before completing them.

You’ll also have the opportunity to practice each of these assessments beforehand, so please read our email instructions carefully. We’ve added some tips to help you along the way.

Step 3 – Attend our virtual assessment centre

For the final stage, we’ll invite you to our virtual assessment centre and give you some tasks to get to know you better. The day will give you a practical insight into what it’s like to work in Corporate Affairs and will assess your aptitude for this industry.

Once you’ve completed your assessment day, we’ll let you know when you can expect to hear back from us.

Reasonable adjustments – if you need us to make any adjustments to help you complete any  stage of your application, let us know you submit your application and someone from our Early Careers team will get in touch.
