SMS Bolton Training Academy is dedicated to providing high-quality training and development programs aimed at enhancing skills and competencies in various industries. You will be working 40 contractual hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of the training centre
  • Day to day maintenance of the Academy.
  • Support trainers during sessions and facilitate hands-on learning experiences for participants.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot technical equipment used in training environments.
  • Order equipment for the Academy
  • Maintain stock levels of tools, uniform and equipment to supply to engineers.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment issued
  • Calibration of equipment
  • Collaborate with other team members to enhance course offerings and operational efficiency.

About you

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Some electrical and or plumbing qualification/experience would be desirable
  • Able to undertake maintenance jobs.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in using various software and technological tools relevant to training.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with learners and colleagues
  • Relevant experience in a technical support or training role is preferred.
  • Some electrical qualification would be desirable
