    In this vital position, you will act as a champion of legal matters related to the Company’s Sales activities. 

    How will I spend my time in this role?

    • Responsibility for the legal review of the contracts and agreements the Company is required to enter into with external parties by establishing the plan as to the priority of the requirements and whether or not to outsource to external law firms.
    • Ownership of the external communication and liaison with external legal firms for outsourced matters.
    • Assisting in the establishment and maintenance of the legal policy, framework and guidelines required to oversee and mitigate the legal risk in relation to the Company’s Sales activities.
    • Responsibility for identifying legal risks the Company is facing in its Sales activities and reporting these back to the Sales & Commercial team
    • Conducting the legal review and preparing the legal opinion when disputes may occur with the external parties.
    • Responsibility for the development and training of all staff and advisers associated with the Sales & Commercial Team legal matters.
    • Assisting in the execution of contracts across the Company.

    What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

    • Qualified Solicitor 0-5 years’ PQE;
    • A willingness to learn about the business and the industry is essential.
    • A team player who is keen to get stuck into any matters that may arise.
    • Experience in developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

    Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
