We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven person with some developer experience/background, who’s also interested in creating great documentation to help developers using Snyk. We especially welcome students in a gap year looking for a learning experience or students on a study break (paid opportunity).
Working with the User Documentation team, you’ll work to deliver a Snyk Docs Audit, testing our product documentation to identify areas we need to improve. In this role, you’ll help enable our users to quickly access good-quality content at the point of need, in line with our developer-first approach. You’ll support our key goals of Developer Growth, enabling self-service for all our users.
You’ll spend your time
- Using our Snyk product range in a variety of environments
- Checking the documentation for each environment
- Creating a report of results that will help drive Snyk docs efforts in the future
- Meeting and learning from other Snyk-ers
You should apply if you
- Have some level of development experience (computer science coursework, coding bootcamp, personal projects)
- Have a passion for clear documentation. Would want to learn how to understand, review, and write clear documentation, based on technical concepts
- Have good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Are self-motivated and pay attention to detail

- Have experience with open-source software
- Are familiar with using developer tools and environments
- Are enthusiastic to learn more about software security
- Want to gain more experience in coding and working in a professional setting
- Are looking for an exciting software opportunity with room for you to grow and value-add
