Join a dedicated and motivated team in a unique environment as a Trainee Risk Analyst!
Société Générale Group is looking for an ambitious professional with a passion for numbers and risk management. The Risk Management Division is responsible for defining the Group’s risk appetite and establishing a risk management and monitoring system.
As a Trainee, you will assist with analysing the UK performance and risk factors related to trading activities in compliance with the bank’s risk policies and appetite, follow up activity of trading desks in Europe and market moves in line with trading desks’ positions and contribute to management reporting and overview of risks, results and exposures. Your main responsibilities will include extracting relevant information from periodic reporting to detect trends, developing key tools to produce metrics, communicating with risk factor experts, and ensuring that risk metrics, methodologies and limits are properly reviewed and documented.
PROFILE REQUIRED
The ideal candidate should have a good level of financial technical knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to take initiative and think outside the box, as well as strong communication skills. They should also have a good understanding of risk-setting processes, regulatory metrics and stress testing, and be able to work well under pressure.
