SSL is looking for a Junior Support Engineer to join our UK Audio Creation Products team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands DAWs, plugins, desktop mixers, interfaces and outboard to grow their knowledge and develop in a fast-paced, world-leading organisation.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, flexible, and motivated individual with good communication skills who wants to become an expert in all things SSL. They take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution. They enjoy understanding problems, coming up with solutions and making customers happy.
Key duties
- Providing office-based technical and operational support to our ACP customer base and worldwide distributors and partners
- Investigating and resolving customer issues
- Beta-testing new hardware and software
- Developing internal and external support material
Requirements
Essential
- Experience using hardware audio products - mixing consoles, interfaces, outboard, controllers
- Experience using software audio products - DAWs, plugins
- An analytical approach, with an eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving
- Good written and verbal communication
- Good IT skills
Desirable
- An understanding of networking and AOIP
- Technical writing experience
- Previous experience in a technical support role
- Previous experience using SSL equipment
