Responsibilities
Current requirements are in the areas of Design, Research and Technology, Technical Systems (Aircraft Systems, Avionics and Equipment), Supporting Analysis (Stress, Aerodynamics, Thermodynamics, etc) and Materials and Processes.
Wherever your initial placement, you’ll get the opportunity to work with different teams, explore where your own skills and interests lie and consider your future focus. As we enter a new chapter for aerospace product design, manufacture and testing, we’re on the cusp of transformational opportunities.
The quality of our people is extremely important to us and, ideally, applicants should have a strong academic background coupled with excellent interpersonal skills in communication and teamwork with lots of commitment, self-discipline, and motivation.
Candidate requirements
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that sufficient detail is provided on their application to demonstrate how they meet the appropriate job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.
- Successful candidates will have an honours degree (minimum 2.2) in a relevant subject (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Product-Design Engineering, Data Analytics, Computing Science, Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, Advanced Composites and Polymers, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing technology etc.) where the course content has been accredited by one of the major engineering institutions enabling applicants to pursue CEng status.
Desirable criteria
- A 2.1, 1st class honours degree or Masters will be considered during the shortlisting for this role.
Qualification must be obtained by 30th June 2024
All applicants will be considered for graduate positions in Summer 2024, however those applicants who have already attained the required qualifications, will be considered for any available positions in early 2024.
