Our Digital Brand & Advertising Executive intern placement offers you the opportunity not only to contribute to achieving our business goals it provides the opportunity to grow with us as well.
This placement would suit a final or penultimate year student or graduate.
What will I do during the placement?
- During the placement you will work with our brand, advertising and sponsorship team to help drive demand for SSE Airtricity and SSE Energy Solutions (BE). You support on improving brand awareness and consideration through owned, earned and paid channels.
- Contribute to a refresh Social strategy for SSE Airtricity and SSE Energy Solutions through reviewing both the energy markers and social media standards benchmarks.
- With the help of the wider team you will look to segment the business areas that require support and develop a strategy for awareness and consideration across social channels.
- You will have the opportunity to contribute your creative input and gain experience of making data driven decisions within the project.
- You will develop skills in social strategy and management across channels for paid and organic campaigns, understanding social channels and their performance and using systems to measure performance of social campaigns.
What do I need?
You will have a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long-term future with us, often candidates who join us on intern placements consider joining our Graduate Programmes after graduation.
To be considered for this role we would love you to have:
- Understanding of the UK and SSE Net Zero Strategy
- An enthusiastic approach and genuine interest in digital channels and basic social media skills.
- Confident in the use of Microsoft office applications
- Copy writing skills would be advantageous.
