Enterprise - Major Projects Summer Placement

The division offers a full range of services across diverse markets, which contribute to development of smart cities and smart places, in both public and private sectors including; Electric vehicle infrastructure for public mass transportation and vehicle fleets, Electricity networks including building, owning, and adopting private HV networks and Distributed energy systems including renewable and low-carbon generation, energy storage and demand management services. It’s an expanding, exciting and leading Energy business at the forefront of the UK’s transition to net zero.
What is the role?
Our summer placement opportunity offers you the opportunity not only to play a part in achieving our goals, but to grow with us as well.
During the placement you'll be embedded in one of our key projects - it could be a Gigafactory or an EV project. You'll support the project teams and be the right hand person for the Project Director to get things done. You'll learn how a major project works, how a Project Director manages the complexity, workstream planning, governance and how we solution the commercials and technicals.
What do I need?
For this programme, you'll be studying maths, economics, finance, quantity surveying, STEM subject, marketing, business, business information management, business management, electrical engineering, engineering, project management, legal, strategy, data analytics, data science, environmental or energy efficiency and will be entering your penultimate or final year of study in September, 2022.
