SSE Enterprise Energy Solutions makes some of the most iconic and best buildings come alive! Clients trust us with the energy optimisation of their Building Management Systems because they know we can be relied upon to deliver the outcomes they are looking for.  Some of our case studies are truly remarkable and demonstrate how we add value to our clients.

We love being a market leader and topping out projects to the very highest of standards. We have an outstanding team who are passionate about what they do and we now need more brilliant people to join us. We are looking for graduates who’ll thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are prepared to work hard to help us achieve our strategic objective – to help us grow our market share and penetrate new areas by developing and selling solutions that have real value and enhance our Clients' buildings.

SSE is therefore excited to offer a graduate program within our Enterprise Energy Solutions Group (ESG) business.  This 24-month programme would suit graduates with a keen interest in the Building Energy Management and Sustainability industry who want to actively pursue a sales career.  The first 12 months will be spent working in an intensive training room environment whereby we will provide the training relevant to the industry we work in so that you can develop the competencies required to build a career in sales engineering and solution selling.  The second 12 months will be spent working within one of our project estimating teams and upon completion of the programme, we would like to place you in a role that is most appropriate to your skills and attributes.  This could be a Project Sales Engineer role within our Projects business or a Support Account Executive role within our Support business based in one of our UK regional offices.  You will have the opportunity to fulfil potential by quickly progressing through the organisation and developing great career opportunities in a fast paced relevant and exciting industry.

What do I need to join?

In this role, you’ll ideally have an MEng or a minimum of a 2:2 BEng in mechanical, electrical, building services or energy and sustainability discipline, along with related work or project experience.  You will stand out from the crowd and have the ability to hold engaging conversations with a wide range of stakeholders.

SSE welcomes applications from all nationalities. Please note that any successful candidate must be able to evidence a valid right to work prior to commencement of employment.
