Our core purpose is to provide the energy needed today while building a better world of energy for tomorrow. As one of the UK's largest and most diverse energy companies, we're always keen to identify great talent to support SSE's growth in the energy industry.
Our opportunities vary year on year, but we typically take on students to support our teams in Distribution, Transmission, Renewables and Enterprise.
What development will I get?
We will provide you with a structured development programme which will be relevant to your degree.
You'll get to build relationships with our business experts, and discover more about careers in the energy industry. You may be asked to undertake a wide variety of duties, and will also be asked to work as part of a team and on your own.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in line with the knowledge you are gaining through your studies.
What do I need to apply?
Ideally, you will be working towards a relevant business, engineering or other STEM-related subject, and will have at least completed your 2nd year of study.
Our opportunities offer a great introduction to the energy sector, and would suit ambitious undergraduates with a genuine interest in SSE and the prospect of a long future with us.
