    The role

    St Leger Homes is an award-winning, customer focused social housing provider that manages almost 20,000 homes on behalf of City of Doncaster Council.

    Starting in September 2024 our Corporate Services Student Placement will provide an enthusiastic and dynamic undergraduate with the opportunity to gain experience in three of our central business areas of Human Resources and Organisational Development, ICT and Business Transformation, and Finance and Governance.

    Spending approximately 4 months in each of the business areas (with the ability to flex this depending on the needs of the business and the interests of the successful candidate) you will be involved in a range of activities from leading our regular colleague pulse surveys and colleague recognition activity, to researching new ways of working and working with our Business Transformation team to improve our ways of working, to working within our Finance and Governance team on tasks ranging from business intelligence research to ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation, as well as gaining experience in day to day finance functions.

    This is an incredibly varied role with the potential to give the right candidate a fantastic insight and first hand of these possible careers.

    Based at our Civic Office in the centre of Doncaster but working flexibly from home as well as on occasion our Shaw Lane depot, the successful candidate will be a hardworking individual, with an attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. You will have great communications skills, be keen to build strong relationships across the organisation and have an eagerness to learn.
