With Increasing workloads from existing clients and our success in winning new Water Company frameworks has resulted in the need to further grow our ecology services, with an opportunity for a passionate graduate to support directly alongside the team.
Based in either Reading, Leeds or Newcastle you will join part of our Environmental Services group, the Archaeology team has an opportunity for a passionate graduate to support directly alongside experienced archaeologists. Carrying out a range of archaeological field work for a range of new and existing clients. This role will predominately be based in the field, but also required at times in the office. Your day-to-day activities will include undertaking site visits, collating and analysing field survey data and producing high quality technical reports and environmental statements.
About You
- You will have an Honours degree or higher in Archaeology, Heritage Management or any other relevant subject.
- An understanding of issues relating to Archaeology, historic buildings and building surveying would be highly advantageous.
- Suitable experience in Archaeology fieldwork, such as excavations, geophysics, archival research or desk-based assessment.
- Experience using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software would be beneficial.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and proficiently to prepare high quality, concise technical reports. Demonstrating strong data analysis and scientific writing skills.
