    The opportunity

    That opportunity now exists within our Building Services group in Reading. Our Integrated engineering and M&E consulting services include mechanical and public health service design, environmental modelling, building systems performance analysis, lighting and day-lighting design, and environmental master planning. These services are offered across a wide range of development types from large urban regeneration projects in London to exciting and diverse international projects including healthcare and hotels.

    Stantec offers the opportunity to work and collaborate on jobs on a global scale whilst utilising the latest BIM technology to develop designs from an initial concept through to project completion.

    As a Graduate building services engineer you will help provide clients with efficient, effective and economical MEP designs. You will help create a comfortable environment by designing the mechanical components of necessities such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and domestic water services whilst retaining a focus on the sustainability and environmental impact of each design. You will have access to the latest environmental modelling software (IES), be exposed to BIM modelling, collaboration and co-ordination and gain detailed knowledge of building regulations.

    About you

    • You are passionate about Building Services and have a strong desire to learn.
    • You will have achieved or be on target to a Honours Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
    • You will have relevant work experience gained through summer placements and internships.
    • Finally, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.
