You will join a team of recognised risk management experts across the UK, with a variety of global experience in different sectors, who are focused and passionate about industry leading risk management practices.
As a portfolio risk manager, you will work alongside senior leaders, programme management and project controls experts, providing expert advice on the appropriate risk management activities to assist in the successful delivery of client outcomes. Some of your activities will include:-
- Working with Clients across various sectors to develop and deliver tailored risk management solutions on some of the UK’s most exciting projects or programmes
- Advising on different risk management frameworks and the interaction between programme and portfolio level risk management
- Using and developing risk management systems or equivalent to capture appropriate risk management information
- Interpreting risk management data to generate reports to provide insights, manage KPIs and drive efficiencies to the Client
- Building your reputation with Clients to become their trusted risk advisor to a range of different stakeholders
- Motivating and managing high performing team members

About you
You will be qualified to a degree level (or equivalent) in appropriate subject or IRM diploma, with a sound knowledge of risk management framework and experience of working in and managing risk. You will have experience in motivating and managing a high performing team, setting strategic direction for the grown and driving growth plans.
You will have experience in overseeing the programme lifecycle and be able to manage the provision of risk management services across all elements, as well as the ability to run QSRA and QCRA modelling.
