    To provide exposure analysis including data manipulation & pricing for underwriting and strategic decision-making.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the production of account pricing and portfolio impact from manipulating raw data to running the appropriate RMS models.
    • Respond to ad-hoc requests from Underwriters with respect to the impact of individual accounts on the Company’s risk appetite and RDS position.
    • Provide feedback to underwriting teams on the quality of analysis to include the accuracy and completeness of data entry into the catastrophe model, pricing assumptions and reliability of the model.
    • Develop technical expertise in using RMS, Sequel Impact and be able to model reinsurance to provide gross and net perspectives.
    • Identify and communicate training or resource gaps to management.
    • Promote team working and develop a strong team with a clear culture and identity.
    • Ensure that all staff operate within the standards outlined in the Group and Company policies.
    • Ensure that all accounts are contract certain.
    • Oversee that all suspicions of financial crime are reported to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer immediately.
    • Ensure that everyone complies with the Company’s standards for Treating Customers Fairly.
    • Ensure that potential Conflicts of Interest are properly managed in order to avoid disrepute to the Company’s integrity.
    • Monitor the immediate reporting of complaints to Compliance.

    • Accuracy of timely information – Management Information, CAT Modelling Output.
    • Feedback from internal and external stakeholders on service delivery and knowledge of their specific business needs.
    • Commitment to furthering technical knowledge and understanding.
    • Complete, timely and effective Compass records.

    About you

    Experience

    • 6 months’ experience;
    • Lloyd’s, London Market and Insurance Company processing arrangements for premiums and claims;
    • Lloyd’s Franchise Board standards;
    • FCA/PRA regulatory framework;
    • Pricing and modelling;
    • Solvency II principles and Capital Adequacy;
    • Underwriting manual;
    • Pricing/Rating tools; and
    • Reinsurance practices.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant A-Level results or an Undergraduate Degree; Geography, Maths or Business based subjects would be desirable.
