We are looking for candidates to join our State Street Global Markets (SSGM)summer internship program. This internship is a full-time career opportunity that is key to our commitment to develop diverse and junior talent and is designed to provide strategic and comprehensive training across GlobalLink, our foreign exchange electronic trading business. This dynamic summer internship will directly work with and support the GlobalLink Head of Data and Liquidity, so that they have the necessary bandwidth to achieve their business goals.

What you will be responsible for
As GlobalLink Data and Liquidity Analyst intern you will be responsible for:
The role responsibilities include
- Engage with senior stakeholders to produce updates on the data strategy for senior management committees and Boards.
- Produce meeting minutes for key GlobalLink MGMT meetings and Working Groups.
- Lead co-ordination of the ML/AI projects across GlobalLink, working closely with data engineering
- Co-ordinate with Liquidity Management teams and Business intelligence teams, devising alert-based reporting.
- Coordinate with liquidity management teams in driving automation in liquidity monitoring.
- Independently plan, research and support ad-hoc projects within GlobalLink Data and Liquidity teams.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and tactical analysis as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education / preferred qualifications
Skills and experience
- An undergraduate degree, other relevant qualifications (e.g. CFA) or significant work experience
- Knowledge of program languages: Python, Java, C++
- Knowledge of the Financial Services sector and associate products and services
