    The Investment COO Analyst will report to the EMEA Investments COO and provide support to the wider Global Investments COO team as well as to the UK Head of Investments and Europe Head of Investments of State Street Global Advisors.

    As Investments COO Analyst you will

    • Act as point of contact on behalf of the EMEA Investments team for transversal projects and initiatives. This may include acting as the subject matter expert or bridge for regulatory projects.
    • Participate in major projects. These projects will frequently have EMEA-wide and global implications.
    • Interact with internal and external parties to ensure effective oversight for existing business and also to shape and implement solutions for new clients, products, strategies and system architecture.
    • Assisting with the oversight of all Portfolio Management and Trading outsourced processes, including support for other senior members in performing and evidencing of reviews.
    • Support senior management to comply with oversight responsibilities in accordance with Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) requirements.
    • Prepare and refine Board, Committee and other relevant presentations materials.
    • Ensure actions assigned to the Investments team arising from senior management forums including Boards and Committees are monitored and dealt with.
    • Provide support to the team in delivering strategic initiatives.
    • Develop or enhance procedures and controls.
    • Provide support to the team in coordinating internal and external audits including control reviews.
    • Be able to work under pressure and collaborate with various levels of the organization.

    Education & Preferred Qualifications

    • 1-3 years’ experience in the Financial sector including oversight functions.
    • Experience with compliance and regulation preferred
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
