    State Street Global Markets Foreign Exchange Sales,Trading and Research is a global principal trading group with main centers in Boston, London and Hong Kong (as well as several other offices globally). We trade foreign exchange and provide macro strategy research to global investment managers and asset owners. The selected individual will Join the FX Trading team with a view to becoming a trader upon completion of a period of training

    What you will be responsible for

    • Obtain hands-on experience learning trading, sales, client services and research functions working alongside and assisting existing staff
    • Learn about the products we trade and the factors that affect them
    • Develop core competencies and a skillset critical to each teams’ responsibilities such as trade pricing, trade entry, risk management, preparation and communication of market commentary.
    • Assist with projects that each team is managing. This will include preparing analyses, reporting, data gathering, operational reviews, systems’ testing and other activities as assigned.
    • Become proficient with various proprietary and vendor trading and investment systems

    Education & Preferred Qualifications

    • BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics, financial markets or investments
    • Strong aptitude for financial math, analysis, and trading systems
