    Statkraft offshore wind is in a growth phase, looking for new investment opportunities in the North Sea and Europe at large. You will be a part of the Offshore Wind - Commercial and New Markets Team.

    This team is responsible for growth, market screening, and origination, acquisition and sell-down execution, and joint venture negotiations.  Working as a part of transaction teams, providing commercial support, research, and analysis on new investment opportunities, and producing investment memos and presentations.

    Your main responsibilities will be:

    • Economic & financial assessment of offshore wind projects across Europe for internal and M&A projects
    • Work with local country organisations to assess opportunities for market entry, partnering and understanding local electricity markets, grid charges and taxes
    • Write internal decision papers, memos, and presentations
    • Conduct market analysis, research industry databases to identify investment opportunities
    • Keep track of industry news flow
    • Work flexibly as required across projects and tasks based on the current need
    • General support towards growing the offshore business

    Qualifications

    • Highly numerate with relevant degree (Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance or Economics based) from a top-tier University, with emphasis on mathematical, problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Keen interest in financial modelling and learning about project economics, cost and sensitivity analysis
    • Critical thinker capable of undertaking research and analysis, and communicating conclusions effectively
    • Understanding and keen interest in offshore wind drivers, wind technology, supply chain, revenues and costs
    • Excellent verbal and written English
    • Strong drive and passion for building new offshore business
    • Positive attitude with an ability to collaborate constructively across the company
    • High personal integrity and ethical standards
