The Commercial Support Analyst is to provide margin analysis on project-based quotes to ensure business expectations are met for the UK, Europe and MEAAP. They will also support the business in margin analysis in line the business strategy on all products.

    Nature and scope

    The Commercial Support Analyst reports to the Global Brand Director – Utopia.

    The role will require the Commercial Support Analyst to spend most of their time at the Langham Park, Chesterfield. However, business meetings, off site training and other visits will form part of the role.

    Principal accountabilities

    • Maintenance of Pricing in NAV for both Steelite and Utopia
    • Work through specific quotes, tenders and projects for the UK, Europe and MEAAP to ensure the business meets the margin expectations required.
    • Proving support on margin analysis on new introductions as well as post launch analysis.
    • Responsible for claim backs, distributor and end user price files, National account sales figure, tenders and incentives.
    • Margin Analysis - Providing information back to the business on margin performance by customer and product, highlighting any movements with reasons.
    • Identify and comment on trends and results.
    • Preparing statistics on margin, competitors pricing etc. to support the Product Team as well as the Global Brand Director.
    • Prepare claim backs from customers for Finance.
    • Prepare price lists for the business.
