Overview
Stifel Europe is a full-service, middle market investment bank that offers a full range of bulge bracket financial services to middle market clients. Stifel Europe is based in the City of London and its influence reaches throughout continental Europe.
Working within the operations department, the SNEL Business Change team are a centralised function that focus on the delivery of projects across the business. Now they're looking for the brightest mind to join them and help drive change across the business.
The Role
The Business Change Analyst role would include both project management and delivery, as well as business analysis responsibilities. This would include, but would not be limited to, capturing project requirements, defining stakeholders, and supporting the delivery and implementation of a project. Whilst project management is important to the role, it will focus on active delivery.
You will be required to breakdown complex problems and ideas, and turn them into tangible deliverables, with defined actions and owners. Some of this work will be collaborative - co-ordinating with member across the department - however you should be comfortable leading and taking ownership of projects. Communication is key to this role as you will be working with external stakeholders, vendors, and team members on a variety of initiatives.
Previous projects include: Brexit – client migration & third country license application, German M&A business integration to manage the acquisition and integration of a German M&A business into Stifel, and Global market data comparison – assisting in the clean-up of our revenue data in order for it to be consumed by a third party.
Candidate Profile
We look for candidates who are eager to make an impact and fulfil the below requirements:
- Graduated or graduating in a BSc with a 2:1 or 1st (Russel Group or Equivalent)
- A proactive self-starter who is keen to learn and confident at handling and prioritising multiple tasks
- Open to working with large group of stakeholders including senior management
- Ability to succinctly summarise and report and working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge or interest in working with large data sets, interpreting the source data in to actionable and tangible conclusions
- Desire to work in the Financial Services Industry, particularly within an Equities, Fixed Income or Operations department
