Responsibilities
As a Cloud Engineering intern, you will be:
- Getting exposure to an extensive Azure (and AWS) IT estate for a Fortune 100 company in an environment supported by your colleagues
- Learning how to use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and scripting to automate the creation of infrastructure at scale
- Learning how to use version control (Git) and designing CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying code
- Helping share best practice and guidance to the development community on how to leverage the cloud
- Collaborating with your team members and stakeholders across the Core IT department to deliver real value to the business from day one
- Developing the technical guardrails that help keep our cloud environment safe and well governed
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2023 and August 2024 (entering penultimate year of university)
- Available for a June 2023 start date for an 8 – 10-week program
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Strong verbal/written communication abilities and effective interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail
- Must be authorized to work in the UK for any employer
