    Responsibilities

    Position Purpose: The Global Payments (GP) team focuses on a holistic FX offering. The GP team in London is made up of various groups. This internship will cover Client Services, Sales, Trading and Correspondent Banking. The Internship role will collaborate on challenging and meaningful projects with each team over the course of their department rotations. This role is designed to provide broad exposure to the GP front office team activities while coaching and mentoring the candidates. 

    During the program, you will have the opportunity to rotate through several departments. responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Client Services: Assist in client communication through phone and email, assist in handling complaints, requests, and other concerns as well as client education and training

    Sales: Develop strong knowledge of product offering, assist in sales pitches and client presentations, cold & warm calls, client onboarding, development of marketing materials

    Trading: Learn to effectively manage risk for spot payments, monitor and analyze market movements and quote currency prices

    Correspondent Banking: Assist in communication and relationship maintenance with correspondent banks including monitoring everchanging banking regulations

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant program and graduating between December 2023 and August 2024 (entering penultimate year of university)
    • Available for a June 2023 start date for an 8 – 10-week program
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
    • Strong verbal/written communication abilities and effective interpersonal skills
    • Strong sense of urgency
    • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail
    • Must be authorized to work in the UK for any employer
