    Our Industrial & Mechanical Graduate Programme offers a two year structured training and development program centered on our operations function, whilst at the same time giving graduates a broad overview of support functions throughout the business.  There are many exciting areas within our Industrial & Mechanical function such as our Industrial Services, Mechanical Services, Key Contract Accounts, E&D, Scaffolding, Caisson Inspection, HVAC, Project Management & Engineering, Planning and Machining & Bolting.

    The structure of the program over the 2 years is:

    • Placement 1
      • 8 Month Assignment – Operations
    • Support Placement
      • 2 Month Assignment – Support Function + Training
    • Placement 2
      • 6 Month Assignment – Operations
    • Support Placement
      • 2 Month Assignment – Support Function + Training
    • Placement 3
      • 6 Month Assignment - Operations

    Tasks and Responsibilities as an Industrial & Mechanical Graduate

    Within each placement, you will be tasked with a defined set of aims and objectives that will allow you to gain exposure to all of the learning the area can offer you. You will have a development plan in place to guide you through your 2-year program, and this will be populated with goals that are designed to enhance you knowledge and skill set throughout your time at Stork.

    Within each placement, the team will get you involved in ongoing projects/work and provide you with learning of the day-to-day operations.

    Application Guidelines

    Stage One

    • All applications must be submitted via the Stork website by no later than Friday 13th May 2022. All applications must include a cover letter detailing motivation for application, and what you will bring to Stork.

    Applications will only be reviewed after the closing date.

    • Should you be successful in progressing to the next stage, you will be called by a member of the Recruitment Team for a telephone screening interview week commencing Monday 23rd May 2022.

    Stage Two

    • Week commencing Monday 6th June, successful candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment including verbal, numerical and inductive reasoning

    Stage Three

    • Following successful completion and passing of stage two, candidates will be invited to attend an assessment center, week commencing Monday 20th June 2022. This will be held at the Stork offices in Dyce, and will include a group exercises and an interview.
