    Studio Gobo is an established AAA games studio, part of the Keywords family. Our team has worked on multiple world-class projects for companies such as Tencent, Disney, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Projects include Redfall, Hogwarts Legacy, For Honor, Marvel Super Heroes: Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars: Rise Against the Empire playsets for Disney Infinity 3.0.

    We are looking for an IT Intern to join the team on a six month fixed term contract which will be based in our office in Hove.

    An IT intern at Studio Gobo…

    • First point of contact for any IT issues raised and perform troubleshooting and support of reported hardware and software issues.
    • Keep track of tickets raised in the IT Helpdesk system and ensure key stakeholders are kept up to date on progress.
    • Ensure IT equipment is deployed around the Studio in an organised manner and keep an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment deployed and in storage.
    • Work with Studio staff to move and setup desks.
    • Perform user administration tasks (account creation/group management etc).
    • Be responsible for the setting up and upgrading of computer hardware and replacement of computer components where required.
    • Assisting both the IT team and wider Studio team when issues arise.
    • Maintenance of meeting rooms and equipment, as well as general software updates and security patch cycles.

    Things we’d love to see from you:

    • Be able to take onboard existing process and procedures and follow these independently, but recognise escalation paths where appropriate.
    • Have demonstrable knowledge of troubleshooting a range of hardware and software issues.
    • Qualification in a computing/relevant subject matter.
    • Be a team player, able to follow instructions and capable of working autonomously.
    • Effective communication skills and overall, a friendly, helpful, confident and organised individual.
