    About the role

    Subsea 7 is currently recruiting for talent to join our Graduate Financial Development Scheme (GFDS) in September 2022 in our Westhill, Aberdeen offices (UK).

    Subsea 7 offers a 3-year programme, enabling graduates to gain experience in Subsea 7's key financial departments: Asset Control, Project Cost Control, Corporate Finance and the Finance Resource Centre (FRC).

    During this 3-year period you will rotate across each department to gain exposure across a wide range of finance activities and the training period will include support in working towards completion of a recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification.

    On-the-job development

    Through on-the-job training you will develop key capabilities related to Financial and Project Accounting through rotations in these functions.

    You will participate in a wide range of activities including the month end cycle, data analysis, financial and management reporting and supporting the wider finance and operational teams in the management of our business activities. 

    During this time, you will become proficient in our financial systems and gain experience in wider business processes.

    Formal training courses

    This is organised to provide the opportunity to gain deeper insights into some of the key aspects related to Financial and Project Support functions.

    Mentoring

    You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to help you achieve targets and goals.

    Qualifications and education

    • Educated to degree level
    • Must be prepared to work towards a recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification
    • Ability to work with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
