About the role
- Role will start in SEPTEMBER 2024
- There is travel expected in this role and nights away from home - around the UK - You are provided with a company car.
- Based in the South East
- Role is offered on a 24 month basis.
- £27,560 + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
What will you be doing?
To assist the solicitors in the legal team in providing commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice and support to the business.
Under the guidance of other solicitors in the legal team you will develop your understanding of commercial law generally and learn to identify and, to the extent possible, quantify risk (legal & commercial). In particular you will gain experience in a number of key areas such as:
- Contract drafting and interpretation.
- Reviewing tenders for new business.
- Mergers and acquisitions.
- Negotiation.
- Dispute resolution.
- Legal research.
- Regulatory compliance.
You will provide support to the other solicitors in the legal team and assist them with their workloads, taking responsibility for specific issues where appropriate.
What are the requirements?
- Graduated within the last 3 years in Law or PGDL/GDL/CPE
- Full UK driving license
- It is desirable that the candidate lives within commuting distance of our Maidenhead office.
- Ideally you will already have some work experience through an industrial placement or summer placement to underpin your exceptional academic record.

- You must have strong written and oral communication skills
- A keen eye for detail.
- Formidable leadership qualities.
