    Join Sulzer Pumps Wastewater UK as our Project Engineer (Municipal and Industrial applications). We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovate, organised Engineer who has a keen eye for detail and is looking for their next challenge. You can help us take Sulzer Pumps wastewater UK to the next level.

    In this role you will be accountable for

    • Responsible for the interpretation of both Unit & Spares Purchase orders from the Sulzer Sales Units, before they are released to Sulzer Wexford for processing.
    • Technical support for Sulzer Sales Units (SU’s) including correct sizing and selection of grinders at the pre-order stage, the review of technical specifications and assist with design of installation layouts and support frames. Will be a pivotal technical contact for the Sulzer SU’s across the EMEA region.
    • Review of new Sulzer Unit & Service Purchase orders, ensuring “Clean Order” is released to Sulzer Wexford for processing.
    • Review of revised Unit & Service orders.
    • Assist Sulzer PE with Bills of Material BOM configuration of new SAP orders as required.
    • Assists PE & Purchasing with any technical queries.
    • Project Tenders, providing information to help influence consulting engineers, contractors, and end-user customers.
    • Project specific Installation layout drawings & specifications, as required by Sulzer SU

    To succeed in this role, you will need

    • Sound engineering background ideally but not essentially with knowledge of the Water / Wastewater Industry
    • Educated to suitable level or able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Engineering
    • PC computer literate in MS Office
    • PC literacy for use of in-house software
    • Ability to use design software. AutoCAD based 3D modelling would be an advantage
    • Project management experience is desirable
    • Experience of SAP systems would be an advantage
    • Must be team player with ability to work in a small department
    • Full driving licence
    • Ability to work to deadlines
    • Ability to converse with customers in a confident manner at all levels, discussing both technical and commercial issues
