Forge Holiday Group are seeking their newest Credit Controller to join our business-critical Finance function at our Chester head office.

We are seeking those keen to utilise their diligence, tenacity, and communication skills to contribute to the company’s financial performance through the efficient collection of outstanding debts across the Group.

  • Paying a salary up to £27,000 per annum / 37.5 hours per week / Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm

Our newest Credit Controller will be someone with the ability to work well under pressure, hold previous telephony and collection experience and a proven ability of rectifying issues quickly and effectively.

You will be responsible for chasing outstanding debt via telephone, email and letter alongside monitoring the central credit control inbox and responding to call back requests and resolving general customer queries.

Further responsibilities will see you aid the Credit Control Manager as and when required.

Your responsibilities

Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, our newest Credit Controller will become a key player within our Credit Control team, responsible for:

  • Contacting debtors by telephone and email (or sometimes post) to collect outstanding sums of money. This will include recording and updating the Credit Control system.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, resolving queries and taking payments.
  • Responding to debtor queries via email.
  • Assisting the Credit Control Manager with any ad hoc tasks as required.
  • General administration duties as required.

  • Telephone Collections Experience
  • Experience of dealing with high volume Credit Control (business to individual preferred).
  • Production of reports
  • Other elements of finance administration
  • Experience working within a Finance/Accounts Department
  • A desire for personal improvement.
  • A knowledge of good cyber security practice.
