    Job purpose

    This candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales opportunities to support Business Development activities. This is an office-based role where the primary method of contact is phone and digital outreach. 

    This is an exciting new role in high growth company in the translational/biomarker space; an ideal opportunity for a science graduate to secure a first commercial position.

    Main areas of responsibility

    • Understand Synexa’s scientific capabilities, value propositions, key differentiators, and market position.
    • Closely work with business development and other stakeholders to develop campaigns.
    • To develop marketing qualified leads into sales qualified leads.
    • Using business intelligence tools and contact databases target identified prospects by phone and / or email.
    • Manage initial requests for information to generate sales qualified leads.
    • Qualify prospects by understanding customer needs and budgets.
    • Update CRM (customer relationship management) system with all customer communications and maintain data hygiene.
    • Support request for proposal process for Synexa key accounts. 

    Experience & qualifications

    • BSc Life Sciences or 1 - 2 years working experience in Life Sciences industry.
    • Previous experience working in a B2B sales environment, previous CRM experience, business Intelligence tool (e.g., Global Data, PatSnap etc.) or Knowledge of CRO/Lab/Clinical Trial industry/Drug development workflow would be advantageous.
