About this role
Join Just Eat Takeaway.com as a Junior Demand Planner and be an integral part of our dynamic supply chain team. Working closely with the Senior Demand Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless alignment of demand with our product offerings. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow their skills and contribute to our supply chain excellence.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
Demand Planning
- Assist in managing budgets and converting financial goals into comprehensive demand plans.
- Collaborate with the Senior Demand Planner to analyse demand patterns and optimise statistical forecast models.
- Support in implementing brand pooling and disaggregation strategies to enhance demand forecasting accuracy.
- Analyse attachment rates by kit, courier type, and country, contributing to data-driven demand insights.
- Assist in overseeing SKU creation and maintenance within the demand planning system.
Reporting
- Support in tracking demand forecast vs actuals (volume) and COGS vs actuals (value) to ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist in monitoring the execution of the agreed demand plan, providing regular updates to the Senior Demand Planner.
- Contribute to tracking and reporting commercial KPIs, including COGS, Sales, Margin, and Volume.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including UK & Global PM, Scoober, Webshop teams, and finance manager, to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the demand planning process.
- Assist in coordinating with countries/business units to agree on demand plans, ensuring accurate communication of demand for sourcing needs.
- Work closely with the Senior Demand Planner to ensure clear communication between demand and supply planning teams.
Team Support
- Provide support to the Senior Demand Planner and the delivery and execution of the plan.
- Collaborate with team members, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting their growth and development.

What will you bring to the table?
- 1 - 2 years in an assistant or junior demand planning role.
- Degree or recognised qualification in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Experience with an ERP or Supply chain planning system preferred (SAP, Anaplan, etc).
- Intermediate level Excel skills
