    Firstly, it is involved in all projects from the outset, developing plant designs that are safe, minimise impact to the environment and are efficient to run.

    The second role is in provision of Technip Energies’ proprietary technology which includes Carbon Capture, Ethylene Steam Crackers, Ethylene from Ethanol, Fluidised Catalytic Crackers, Gas to Liquids and various petrochemical processes including Ethylbenzene/Styrene.

    The Role

    Working under the direction of senior engineers, tasks will include: plant simulations, performing Process and Systems’ calculations, compiling Process and Fluid Systems lists and summaries, marking up Process drawings, design of process equipment and production of datasheets and involvement in design review meetings including Hazops.

    Training

    Our office has a graduate training scheme which generally has at least one training session each month ranging from technology overviews to specific calculation procedures. Vendor presentations and external training are also arranged as needed.

    Mentoring

    Graduates are provided with a mentor who will meet with them regularly to ensure that they are achieving what they need to progress to chartership and be a point of contact for any concerns they may have.
