    Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Operating across three distinct product groups namely commercial, defence and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products.

    The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe such as a multi axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and mutli-axis CNC machining centres.     What you will be involved in

    As a Graduate Engineer you will participate in on the job training and work closely with our experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer on various projects to ensure you are fully equipped for your future at Teledyne CML Composites. As a member of the Engineering team you will be involved with New Product Introduction, Continuous Improvement and development of our current processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in a structured training programme to gain knowledge and skills in manufacturing processes, techniques and technologies
    • Shadow and assist experienced engineers to understand various manufacturing processes including lay up, assembly, machining and quality control
    • Provide assistance to senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving resolving manufacturing issues, ensuring effective production
    • Assist in maintaining accurate records, documentation of process changes and creating work instructions and procedure
    • Learn and apply quality control measures to inspect products and ensure they meet specifications and a standards
    • Support engineering projects by gathering data and assist in project planning and execution
    • Familiarise yourself with manufacturing tools and equipment ensuring they are used effectively and safely

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Engineering Degree or equivalent.                                 
    • Competent use of MS Office, Excel in particular.
