Applications are now open for The Telegraph’s Newsroom Work Experience Programme. We are offering ten two-week placements where you will have the opportunity to work in a busy newsroom and gain hands-on experience alongside our experienced journalists at The Telegraph.
About the placement
We are looking for people who are passionate about news and journalism as a career, are creative and eager to learn new skills. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
The placements will be based within our central London newsroom and you will receive payment for your travel, expenses and accommodation (if required).
The Telegraph is an award-winning, multimedia news brand that has been synonymous with quality, authority and trusted reporting for more than 165 years.
Please demonstrate how you will bring diversity of experience and perspective to the newsroom.
The placements will take place across April 2023.
Requirements
To be considered for this work experience opportunity, you must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the placement and have the right to work in the UK.
You must be studying journalism at university or working towards your NCTJ. As part of the application, please submit a pitch (no more than 100 words) of a story that you would like to work on as part of the programme.
