Role Profile
The role will involve Traffic Signal Installation from cabling to working at heights installing traffic signal heads. Full training will be provided on all equipment – you will also be sent on internal and external training courses so we ensure you are confident in your work and always being upskilled.
Once successfully trained you will be able to take on the following responsibilities.
- Carry out installation of Traffic and associated signal equipment
- Carry out testing of signal equipment
- Install Wire cables at top caps and controllers to an agreed specification
- Carry out on site risk assessments and follow method statements
- Attend Team brief / Toolbox talks as required
- Ensure test equipment, PPE and Vehicle are all compliant with up to date certification as required
The successful candidate must be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and be able to work alongside colleagues and being able to work on own initiative. Full driving license is required as this is a field-based role.
