Our Finance graduate scheme offers a unique opportunity to learn and develop in the UK’s largest retailer, a business that generates over £60bn of sales across the Group. With a proven track record of developing talent, we are on the lookout for our future finance leaders. We are looking for individuals who are committed to building the skills and business understanding to co-pilot the business to deliver value for customers, colleagues, and shareholders.
Operating over 4,500 stores globally and with +2,000 UK based colleagues, there are plenty of opportunities to explore a wide range of finance disciplines whilst gaining a broad understanding of our business (supported by in-store experience). Across the three years of the programme, you will spend time in different areas of the Finance team, whether that be working with our Product teams to develop the right ranges for customers, providing analysis to Stores leadership to unlock efficiencies within the operations or working with Group Finance and Investor Relations teams to craft our external results narrative.
Our rotations aren’t confined to our UK retail business with opportunities to work in Booker (UK’s leading food and drink wholesaler), dunnhumby, our customer-centric data science business or gaining international experience in one of our global business units.
During your programme we'll support you through your CIMA studies, with paid leave and the breadth of experience you’ll need for the practical requirements of the qualification. You’ll also be supported by your colleagues - a dedicated programme team, a mentor and one-on-one director sponsorship.
Whether you’re building necessary technical skills, or gaining essential communication, analysis and insight capabilities, this programme will ensure the best possible journey towards becoming a well-rounded qualified finance professional, with a proven track record of developing future finance leaders.
