About the role
Reporting to the Director of the Planning team, the role is to assist on town planning projects of varying type, size and complexity. The team is currently instructed on projects across England and Wales in a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, energy, urban regeneration, minerals and waste management. These require a creative and multi-disciplinary approach to planning and environmental issues and opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and research
- Deliver specific project work
- Provide town planning support to projects as required
Quals/Skills requirements
- Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in town planning or in a related discipline
- An commercial approach to town planning
- An ability to research and write high quality reports
- Good personal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of an established team
- Work Experience in town planning would be desirable
- IT literate;
- Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated
- Full driving licence
