Tetra Tech is recruiting a talented and motivated Project Coordinator to join our growing Evaluation and Research (E&R) Practice based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone starting out in their career or returning from a career break.
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our diverse projects. You will be joining a dynamic and multidisciplinary team who are passionate about international development. We are looking for someone with at least 1 years’ experience in administration and project coordination in the international development arena.
As a Project Coordinator, you will provide support the delivery of donor-funded projects around the developing world, across a range of evaluation and research areas. As an entry-level project management position, this role typically leads to progression as a Project Manager in our Project Management Unit in the E&R Practice.
Main duties
The overall purpose of this position is to:
- Provide administrative and logistical support to Project Managers, Assistant Managers, consultants and teams in project delivery.
- Support the Project Manager in the tracking and updating of project work plans.
- Support the Project Manager in financial management tasks, including accurate project forecasting and budgeting, processing supplier invoices and raising client invoices.
- Liaise with consultants and subcontractors to ensure timesheets and invoices are received in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Communicate with consultants to maintain relationships, informing the Project Manager of any problems and expected outcomes.
- Monitor, maintain and archive projects and practice filing and folders (both electronic and hard copy), ensuring project documentation is properly named and filed in accordance with company guidelines.
- Report any potential risks, hazards, or incidents to the Project Manager.
- Support the Project Manager with team resourcing matters including keeping the Resource Planner up to date by liaising regularly with the Resourcing Manager.
- Recruit and mobilise consultants according to Tetra Tech procedure, schedule, and project budget, and with an appropriate contract in place.
- Support logistical planning and coordination on projects, including applying for research permissions, mobilisation of consultants and staff and project office establishment.
- Support the preparation of reports and client deliverables according to Tetra Tech formats and standards.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals and bid submission process in accordance with company formats and BD procedures, including compiling track records and case studies and preparation of standard components.

- Working knowledge of a range of software applications and strong computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
