    Our Opportunity

    Thales UK are looking to recruit several aviation and engineering specialists to join our Inflight Entertainment Maintenance Team at Heathrow Airport. As a Licenced Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out IFE Line/Hangar maintenance duties on-board a wide range of aircraft. Working in a fast-paced environment, key activities will include:

    • Perform IFE maintenance activities on-board Thales equipped B777, B787 Aircraft.
    • Support the technical team in, investigating, troubleshooting and rectifying issues seen in service.
    • Support management in the continuous improvement of maintenance activities.
    • Content media and System Software Loading.

    This role is based on a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift rota covering early and late shifts.

    About you

    We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual with previous Line Maintenance experience. Experience working on Inflight Entertainment systems preferably Thales Systems would be an advantage.

    You must be 21 years or older and you must hold a valid UK/European Driving Licence. It is important you are flexible and adaptable, prepared to work on a flexible shift pattern between the early and late shift.

    Successful candidatures will need to hold a valid B1 or B2 Licence with UK CAA (European may be considered). You will also have recent and checkable experience of working in aircraft maintenance.

    In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years. Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance which can require further evidence to be provided.
