    Our opportunity

    We are currently in the process of building a Transactional Finance team here in the UK, bringing a shared service model back on shore. We currently have multiple opportunities available within this space. As part of this process, we are currently looking for a Graduate level Assistant Accountant.

    Within this role you will provide assistance with all aspects of cash and banking, as well as maintenance of our ERP system - ORACLE - and support our financial shared service centre. You will be part of our Central Finance team and report into the Shared Services Team Leader.

    This is a hybrid role working a minimum of two days per week from our site in St Katherine’s Dock, London.

    Key responsibilities

    Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Cash and Bank management including reconciliations
    • Concur Administration support
    • Work closely with the financial shared service centre to help resolve any issue arising mainly in Purchase to Pay Process
    • Assist with VAT returns
    • Provide ORACLE ERP Support
    • Day to day Systems functional application support to the Shared Accounting Service (SAS)
    • Assist with ORACLE Sub-ledger reconciliation co-ordination
    • MDM Update Data Masterfiles ensuring data integrity and accuracy
      • Cost Centre maintenance on ERP, Workday, TM1 and Mytime

    Technical skills and experience

    • Ability to produce detailed & accurate information
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Proven ability to work to deadlines
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills
    • Working knowledge of Excel

    Human skills

    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Solution orientated

    Qualifications

    • Graduated from a Finance or Business related subject
    • Desire to study for a professional accountancy qualification

    What to expect

    We aim to complete a one-stage interview process, with this being held in-person at our St Katherine’s Dock office. The interview will focus separately on technical and behavioural competencies.
